The Current State of Play of the EU

A presentation by Prof. Philip von Brockdorff, member of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), was delivered during the MCESD Council Meeting held on 26th September 2025.

The aim of this presentation was to brief Social Partners on the current challenges and opportunities for EU competitiveness, strategic autonomy, and Malta’s role in leveraging new European initiatives and funding.
