Request for Quotations

The Malta Council for Economic and Social Development (MCESD) invites qualified financial auditors to submit their quotation for the provision of audit services, subject to the terms and conditions contained herewith:
Background information
Budgets (2024)
- Malta Council for Economic and Social Development €700,000
- National Productivity Board NPB €100,000
- Low Wage Commission LWC €25,000
MCESD’s financial year is between January and December, but the first transitional financial year is from 1st October 2024 due to the previous cycle running from 1st October 2024 to 30th September 2025. Accordingly, the 2024 to 2025 financial year shall cover from the 1st of October 2024 to the 31st of December 2025.
MCESD will select the cheapest compliant bid. The contract will be for a period of 2 years.
Auditors who are interested in providing financial audit services to MCESD should submit a quotation, which includes the following matters:
- A brief description of the Auditor
- Services offered by the Auditor
- The level of audit experience
- The proposed manner in which the audit of MCESD is to be carried out
- Copy of auditor’s warrant
- Total including Taxes/Charges, other Duties & Discounts but Exclusive of VAT (Delivered Duty Paid – DDP)
Quotations for Audit Services
The total price must not exceed Euro 5000 for 2 years.
Quotations are to be submitted to [email protected] by not later than noon of Monday, 15th December 2025.
Late submissions will not be accepted or considered.
