The Central Bank of Malta invited the members of the MCESD Council made up of social partners to a listening event to give their feedback on the European Central Bank Monetary Policy Strategy Review.
Minister within the Office of the Prime Minister Carmelo Abela was also present for the event. A similar event organised by the Central Bank of Malta will also be held for the public and civil society in the coming days.
An MCESD meeting followed and focused on a report that had been requested by social partners on MCESD’s role in a strong democracy.
