All social partners represented at MCESD today met to discuss the latest issues related to energy distribution. The meeting was held in the presence of the Prime Minister, Robert Abela, Ministers Miriam Dalli, Clyde Caruana and Parliamentary Secretary Andy Ellul.

Following presentations made by Enemalta plc, Government committed to proposed plans for accelerated and adequate investment in the implementation of upgrades to the distribution of energy in order to match the expected needs and ambitions of the Country.

MCESD also advised that climate change adaptation must address overall national risks to infrastructure driven by extreme weather conditions.
