Task force set up during GRC meeting for post-Covid strategy

During a GRC Committee meeting held today, a task force was set up with the aim of studying a post-Covid strategy. The committee discussed the Terms of Reference of the task force, including:

  • Creation of innovative work
  • Environment
  • Health
  • Sustainable development
  • Infrastructure
  • Connectivity
  • Health

The committee discussed how the COVID pandemic was impacting Gozo as it was apparent that Gozo was always hit harder and took longer to recover. Gozo faced realities that were peculiar to Gozo. Some members felt that the quality of jobs in Gozo were inferior and there were less opportunities.
