The conference explored the mental health impact of social and economic measures on different groups in Malta. A number of speakers addressed the virtual conference, including <\/span><span class=\"diy96o5h\" spellcheck=\"false\" data-offset-key=\"fqdk4-1-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"fqdk4-1-0\">World Health Organisation (WHO)<\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"fqdk4-2-0\"> European Regional Director Dr Chan Chisholm, former AFM Colonel David Mifsud, who is Director at <\/span><span class=\"diy96o5h\" spellcheck=\"false\" data-offset-key=\"fqdk4-3-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"fqdk4-3-0\">Malta Tourism Authority<\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"fqdk4-4-0\"> who oversees the enforcement directorate, among other keynote speakers.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"5khj7\" data-offset-key=\"1s8lk-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"1s8lk-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"1s8lk-0-0\">The workshops MCESD participated in focused on the Covid-19 impact on business owners and employees.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"5khj7\" data-offset-key=\"1i5e3-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"1i5e3-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"1i5e3-0-0\">The importance of support at work was highlighted during the conference as anxieties and fears at the workplace which are heightened by the pandemic are reduced drastically through support.
